Museums in the Blue Land

Concentrated culture

The museum on the Glentleiten with its over 60 original buildings is Upper Bavaria's largest open-air museum and a focal point for young and old. In the Münter House you can follow the lives of the artists Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter. The castle museum features works from the Blue Rider artist movement, is dedicated to Ödön von Horváth and is interesting to visit again thanks to its changing special exhibitions. But the smaller museums in the Blue Land such as the Staffelseemuseum, the Kaulbachvilla or the local history museum in Uffing are also worth a visit!
