Griesbräu in Murnau

In the heart of Murnau, at the upper end of the picturesque pedestrian zone, you will find Michael Gilg's private brewery. With the most loving attention to detail, he has turned the Griesbräu into a place of true beer enjoyment, where you can simply sit together for a pint, but can also enjoy the oven-fresh, typically Bavarian delicacies. The spacious hotel rooms are designed according to beer themes: hop kiln, malt barn and fountain courtyard!
Directly in the brewery are the copper kettles in which the master brewer brews smooth, naturally cloudy light beer, tangy wheat beer and rustic dark beer. In addition to these 3 standard beers, there are 9 different seasonal beers - these change over the months. Whether Maibock, Braunbier Bruno, Drachenblut or Märzen, there is a variety of Bavarian beer here! In summer you can sit under the acacia tree in the listed inner courtyard.
