Traveling in a nature-friendly way

in the Blue Land

Hikers and cyclists usually travel in particularly valuable natural areas and sensitive ecosystems. With the following tips you can take the nature and environment in our region into consideration.

  • Only use marked paths and avoid shortcuts
  • Move quietly in nature
  • Take your trash back with you
  • Be considerate of wild animals and grazing livestock and observe protected zones
  • Close cattle gates and pasture fences
  • Put dogs on a leash
  • Travel in an environmentally friendly way and use ours Public transport offer (electronic guest card)

For cyclists and bikers

  • Only use appropriate paths
  • Does not block the tires
  • Descends in wet and muddy conditions
  • Always drive with foresight
  • Always give priority to pedestrians
  • Brake in good time when driving past
  • Don't scare other trail users
  • Do not drive at dusk or at night

We recommend the brochure “Consideration makes paths wide”.
