Museums/Collections
Discover over 60 historical buildings from 5 centuries!

From farms to mills and workshops to coal mines and alpine pastures. Historical farm animal breeds such as Murnau-Werdenfels cattle or spectacled and mountain sheep graze in the meadows and pastures. Herbs and ancient vegetables grow in the gardens. Look over the shoulder of the rope maker, the traditional costume tailor or the wheelwright during demonstrations and learn more about old, almost forgotten techniques!

To the museum with children
Children can explore life 100 years ago in the 'House to Discover'. Finally they can touch everything in the museum and understand it in the truest sense of the word.

Snack and more
You can take a break with Bavarian specialties, coffee and cake in the museum restaurant, general store or beer garden at Salettl with a historic bowling alley (can be rented!).

Events
A varied annual program always invites you to visit.
