Goals and principles as well as values and identity for the Blue Land were developed in several workshops with a wide range of stakeholders.

Goals and guiding principles
- We want to think about mobility nationally in a new, networked and holistic way. In addition to the transport offer, this also includes a mobility card.
- Self-sufficiency in energy and basic supplies should be further expanded in communities wherever possible.
- We want to consciously maintain and strengthen our small-scale agriculture - both at the level of regional products and in the care of our unique landscape.
- Food from the Blue Land should be made even more accessible and marketed together.
- New living concepts make the most of the available space and bring different generations and interests together. The common good is moving more to the fore.
- Our strong communities should continue to grow together. To do this, we consciously build bridges between the different interest groups in the area of tension between tradition and innovation.
- Village inns are rediscovering themselves as the heart of the community: meeting place for all interest groups, event location, co-working space, rest area for guests and starting point for further experiences - also in connection with regional products and local crafts
- We have said goodbye to parochial thinking and are working together across communities and nationally to effectively advance valuable projects.
- We proactively deal with new working environments. We create creative spaces and the ideal framework conditions so that traditional businesses continue to flourish and young companies and highly qualified workers are happy to settle here.
- We consciously use tourism to further pursue our goals, to enable value creation and exchange in the region and to further strengthen our living space.
