The art walk takes you to the artists' original motifs surrounding the Blauer Reiter!

In August 1908, the artist couple Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter, as well as Alexej Jawlensky and Marianne von Werefkin, moved to Murnau. From then on, the region around Lake Staffelsee was the place of inspiration. On the art walk through Murnau you have the opportunity to understand the painters' motifs and also learn exciting and interesting facts about the artist movement "Der Blaue Reiter" in the museums - the Münter House and the Murnau Castle Museum - and view the artists' works .
