Directions
This path can be followed both from the Gasthaus Höhlmühle (note: currently closed) and from Aidling. The southern section of the path offers wonderful views of the Riegsee, the Murnauer Moos and the Alpine panorama. The northern, lonely part is in the forest and offers wonderful shade in the heat. Here you will definitely find peace, listen to the bird songs and breathe the scent of the forest. There are refreshment stops at both starting points.

The hiking and cycling paths we describe are primarily used for forest management; you use them at your own risk (Section 14 Para. 1 BForestG).
Arrival & Parking
Coming via Munich or Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the A95 and then on the B472.
Public transportation
Guests in the “Blue Land” region and the “Ammergau Alps” can use a variety of bus lines and train lines from Murnau to Oberammergau and from Uffing to Garmisch-Partenkirchen free of charge with the electronic guest card or KönigsCard.
