2,59 km long
Hike

Walk along the historical paths of the Bavarian royal houses and the artists' town of Murnau.

The Königsweg leads over 2,5 kilometers to the most beautiful viewpoints in the Blue Land around Lake Staffelsee.

Good to know

Directions

Majestic trees line the path and frame the diverse landscape forms. It is a hike that enchants and quenches your thirst for knowledge at the same time. On the nature and forest trail with 13 stations and an information pavilion, you can find out everything about the historic path through the foothills of the Alps and the special features of the surrounding nature. It is not known whether the kings themselves took this path. But the fantastic viewpoints of the imposing mountain peaks of the foothills of the Alps and the deep blue lake landscape suggest so. And even if it is not a royal throne, numerous benches invite you to enjoy this panorama and let your gaze wander.
