Directions

From the starting point at the town hall, the flat path first leads past the Hagrain Chapel, through meadows and forests, rising slightly to the “Hohen Tanne”, 900 m, beautiful viewpoint. The path leads through magnificent high forest on a level route and then gently descends to the Kreut-Alm mountain inn and to the nearby open-air museum on the Glentleiten, a little below (visit). From there you have a beautiful view over the Kochelsee to the Benediktenwand. This hike is extremely worthwhile. The way back can be made via the Schwaiganger main and state stud.
