Seehausen a. Staffelsee

The romantic old fishing village of Seehausen am Staffelsee lies in the beautiful lake & moor landscape of the Alpine foreland. Old, decorative farmhouses which still feature Lüftlmalereien (fresco paintings), and the Staffelsee, one of the warmest lakes in Bavaria, characterise the townscape.

Visitors can rest and relax at Staffelsee, which features 7 islands, curative water containing moor mud, and a fantastic landscape in the middle of the loveliest destinations in Upper Bavaria.

There are lots of opportunities for activities here in our area: the nearby mountains lure alpinists while water sports enthusiasts, swimmers and anglers flock to the Staffelsee and hikers as well as nature lovers cherish the surrounding area.
