Hike - Pömetsried circular hiking trail

From the northern exit of the town, past Vroni & Anne's coffee shop, the path branches off to the left after 100m and leads through flat meadowland. After a slight climb you reach the Pömetsried estate, part of Schwaiganger. From there you can either go back to Ohlstadt via Schwaiganger or go on the long circular hike past Gut Pömetsried through a beautiful and untouched area to Achrain. From there it goes along the Loisach, under the railway bridge to the Loisach Bridge. Turn left there and return to Ohlstadt via the hamlet of Weichs (church).

NOTE: THE PATH BETWEEN PÖMETSRIED AND ACHRAIN IS CURRENTLY IN VERY POOR CONDITION!

Bus stop: Ohlstadt town center

Bus lines: 9607 Murnau - Ohlstadt - Ettal and back (Note: only operates on Saturdays on school days at the Ettal monastery school!)

9611 Kochel - Schlehdorf - Großweil - Ohlstadt - Murnau (Note: The Glentleiten open-air museum is only served from April to October!)
