Have a good trip with the electronic guest card

With the electronic guest card you can ride the bus free of charge in a large area. Two railway lines are also included free of charge in the electronic guest card.

Especially when you set off and... Meditation path or would like to discover one of our museums without stress and searching for a parking space, it is a good idea to use the KönigsCard or the electronic guest card to use the regional buses free of charge.

What do you have to consider if you want to use the free bus rides? Simply show the small electronic guest card/plastic card on the bus. If your host offers the electronic guest card, you will receive the card upon arrival.

Free train travel

In addition to your electronic guest card, you will also receive a personalized paper ticket from your host for free train travel. Together with your official photo ID, you can use the railway lines between Uffing and Garmisch-Partenkirchen (and back) and between Murnau and Oberammergau (and back) free of charge.

There is a charge for taking a bicycle and taking a dog with you. Lines that go beyond the scope of validity must also be paid for additionally.

The Omobi bus in Murnau, Riegsee and Seehausen

The “omobi” bus, a 7-seater from the Mercedes V-Class, does not leave predetermined stops according to a fixed timetable like a traditional bus, but can be ordered flexibly via app or by telephone according to individual needs. Around 200 digital stops offer passengers a wide choice and they can easily choose the pickup point closest to them. Once a passenger has ordered their ride via the app or by phone, an intelligent algorithm calculates the optimal route and pools the requests of other passengers, known as ridepooling, in order to get everyone to their desired destination as quickly as possible.

Operating hours are Monday to Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 20:00 p.m. The trip costs €2 per person per trip, no matter where your destination is.
