Art, culture, nature and enjoyment...

Murnau a. Staffelsee is considered the center of the Blue Land. The market is a picturesque artists' place with a special combination of nature, art, culture and enjoyment. It is framed by Staffelsee, Riegsee and Froschhauser See as well as the Murnauer Moos nature reserve. Shopping in individual specialist shops with flair, relaxing in street cafés and beer gardens, celebrating traditional festivals, relaxing in clean lakes and intact landscapes. Murnau is pure inspiration!

Münter House

Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter lived together in the Münter House from 1909 to 1914. Today there is a museum there that provides insights into the artists' lives back then.
