Hiking on the piston

In summer, the Kolben chairlift is the ideal starting point for leisurely, family-friendly hikes, e.g. B. Easily accessible mountain paths to the Pürschlinghaus and the Kofel. The “Zahn” and, for experienced mountain hikers, the Sonnenberggrat are also easily accessible from the Kolbensattel.

Alpine Coaster

From the Kolbensattelhütte you go back to the valley along the approximately 2,6 km long route of the Alpine Coaster in a sleigh with a backrest and a safety belt. With a top speed of 40 km/h, there is still enough time to enjoy the wonderful views. The speed can be controlled using 2 brake levers.

Ski area at Kolben

In winter, the ski area at Kolben with 80% snow-covered ski slopes is the snow-sure choice in the Ammertal. The predominantly blue slopes (very suitable for beginners) offer pure skiing fun for young and old right down to the valley.
