clammy

699 meters long, 80 meters deep, 10.000 years old – these are the impressive figures of the Partnachklamm. The natural monument is no longer an insider tip, but is one of the most popular excursion destinations in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Unique and beautiful: in summer and winter!

Listen to the sound of rushing water flowing down the waterfalls and rapids. Walk over huge rock massifs, through tunnels and over the impressive “Iron Bridge”. Below you the fresh, ice-cold water swirling through the gorge. You feel how infinitely beneficial breathing in and out can suddenly be.

What is considered a soothing and refreshing refuge in summer turns into a true spectacle in winter. Admire the meter-long icicles that grow together to form abstract ice sculptures. Due to the incidence of sunlight, they change their appearance almost every second. A unique spectacle in the deep and mysterious Partnachklamm gorge.
