Churches/chapels
Uffing am Staffelsee has a long church history. This supposedly goes back to the year 808

According to a document, a church could have existed in Uffing as early as 808. However, St. Agatha was mentioned for the first time in the 12th century and was rebuilt in 1480. Due to the influx of pilgrims, it was enlarged in 1650 under the direction of the local master builder and sculptor Rudolph Zwink. Inside, the church reveals its true splendor and is therefore definitely worth a visit!
