The swimming area at Froschhauser See is located on the north bank of the lake. There is a parking lot right next to the swimming area.
At Riegsee you can swim on the northwest bank at the Brugger campsite and at the Riegsee campsite. There are also well-developed bathing areas in the town of Riegsee. There is a surfing school on the western shore. You can find a boat rental in Riegsee.
There is an official bathing spot at Murnau Bay, south of the Murnau lido. Furthermore, there is always the opportunity to take a “cooling off jump” at the lake.
